Chief Operating Officer

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Imani Turner is a person in long-term recovery who has been sober since 2017. Before finding recovery, she struggled with heroin addiction for approximately five years. Her own experience with substance use and recovery gave her firsthand insight into the challenges individuals and families can face. That experience ultimately inspired her to build a career helping others navigate their own recovery.

Imani is a Certified Recovery Residence Administrator (CRRA) and has worked in addiction treatment for eight years, holding a range of leadership and operational roles throughout her career.

As Chief Operating Officer at Palm Beach Gardens Recovery, Imani combines lived recovery experience with operational leadership. She oversees systems, compliance, and quality standards while maintaining a personal understanding of what addiction and recovery can look like for the people seeking treatment. That balance lets her advocate for both exceptional client care and organizational excellence.

Imani wants her work to help raise the standard of care in addiction treatment through ethical practice, accountability, and client-centered treatment. She believes people seeking help deserve quality care and environments that support long-term recovery.

She is also active in recovery advocacy, mental health awareness, and reducing the stigma surrounding substance use disorders. What she finds most rewarding is when people rediscover themselves in recovery, families reconnect, and clients achieve goals they once believed were beyond their reach.
