Originally from Dothan, Alabama, Rachael Rowe holds a master’s degree in nursing from Troy University and is a board-certified nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. She has worked in addiction treatment since June 2021, when she began at a detox treatment center in Panama City Beach, Florida.

Rachael emphasizes direct communication and individualized medical care. She makes a point of listening to patients’ questions and concerns, explaining their medical plan of care clearly, and providing individualized care that patients are proud of and willing to stick to.

Patient education and choice are central to her approach. Rachael believes people should understand the options available to them, including both medication and lifestyle interventions, and be actively involved in decisions concerning their care.

She brings that approach to her role as Addiction Nurse Practitioner at Palm Beach Gardens Recovery. One of the most rewarding parts of her job is hearing patients’ success stories and learning what ultimately helped each individual in their recovery.
